Whats It All About?

A hate incident is an incident which may or may not constitute a criminal offence but is perceived by the victim as being motivated by HATE. Any hate incident which constitutes a criminal offence is considered a HATE CRIME.

Reporting a hate incident or crime even anonymously may give us vital information to help identify an offender, a crime hotspot, prevent further offences and stop hate crime!

You can report as a victim, on behalf of a victim or as a witness

Direct Report

This occurs when the victim decides to fully report the incident/crime. The police will investigate the incident and where there is sufficient evidence, will prepare a report for the Public Prosecution Service.
